Creating is a huge part of my daily routine. For most of my career, I’ve been creating content for adult education platforms, corporate identity assets for businesses, as well as printing and online marketing material for various companies. A friend/colleague introduced me to Teachers Pay Teachers, which has given me the opportunity to do what I really love… getting lost in a dream world of creating amazing illustrations for children. I am looking forward to the day when I can retire from the corporate world and permanently do what I love – serving others with my God-given talent -drawing.

I have a B-Tech Degree in Graphic Design. I have also completed several courses and obtained certificates in facilitation, learning aid and course design, and course development. You are also welcome to visit my shop at Surfer Kids Clip Art.Fun Facts

1. Chippie was the first character I created for Teachers Pay Teachers…  That’s him on my shoulder!
2. I live in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.
3. My website, Surfer Kids Clip Art, is based on the fact that we live in one of the surfing MEGAS of the world… (I am not a surfer but my son is. – hee hee.)
4. I live with my wife, Elisabe (who is a travel consultant), and my son, Eswan, who does web design work with me.
5. Nika, our daughter (married to Renier), is a teacher and is also starting to join me in creating clip art. You will find quite a few new items in the shop done by her.
6. I paint whenever I get the chance, landscape, seascape and still life. 
7. I can play piano.
8. I have 4 Yorkie Dogs, Coby and Nugget (dad and mom), DaVinci and Liefie (son and daughter). If I could translate the name Liefie, it could be “Lovey”.
