Hi, I’m Tammy and I’m a tutor who loves helping kids learn to read. I have always loved children’s literature and dreamed of writing my very own book. To make that dream come true, I created a character based on my real four-legged friend, Dusty, to help inspire young learners to be their best.

I am currently keeping busy writing other Dusty the Dog activities and books – so be on the lookout for more fun resources coming soon!

I have a degree in education and specialized training in methods to help students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. I am also a wife and mom to adult children who have struggled with dyslexia, autism, intellectual disabilities, and emotional issues. That’s why helping others overcome learning challenges is so important to me.
